This is a sample post of what a gallery may look like. You type some information about the event at the top. If you want, you can “tag” or “categorize” the post – see right – which allows users and search engines like Google to find the information quicker. Completely up to you – you probably won’t have a lot of posts, so it’s not too important.
To add photos, click “Add Media” and then select “Create Gallery” from the left side. Upload photos or select ones that are already uploaded and then hit save. You can add captions (see below) and adjust how they are displayed. I recommend you leave the “Link to:” as “attachment page” and the size to “Thumbnail”. See how it posts below.
Each photo will display on it’s own page. This allows you to scroll through them and comment on the individual photos. The comment feature is available for 14 days after the post and then turns off – we can adjust that if you’d like. There are other options for displaying photos. This is the built-in gallery and will cause the least amount of trouble, but we can pursue other options if you’d prefer something different.
